Scope and your rights
We review billing and service problems using the transaction details and the circumstances of the request. We do not guarantee approval of every request. Your mandatory consumer rights still apply.
For purchases handled by Paddle, its Refund Policy and relevant Buyer Terms apply alongside mandatory consumer law. Rights and deadlines can depend on your location, transaction type and use of the service. Check the terms that applied when you paid.
When to request a review
Contact us if:
- You appear to have paid twice or have overlapping subscriptions you did not intend to keep.
- Payment succeeded but the associated Premium access did not activate.
- A persistent service problem prevented access to the paid features described.
- A charge appeared after a cancellation you believe was confirmed.
- A renewal was unintended and you want the transaction reviewed.
Tell us what happened, even if it does not fit one of these examples. We will review the information rather than ask you to pay again to resolve an access problem.
Changing your mind, not using an available subscription or losing access to one particular source video does not by itself establish entitlement to a refund. This does not limit remedies supplied by law or the payment terms.
How to request a refund
Email support@ytvideocutter.com with "Refund request" in the subject. Include your checkout email, invoice or transaction reference, payment date and amount, and the reason for the request.
For two charges, include both references. If cancellation is involved, include the confirmation and its date. For an access problem, describe which feature was unavailable and any error shown.
Do not send card numbers, security codes, passwords or login links. You can also use the payment-support route in your Paddle receipt or visit Paddle.net for a Paddle transaction. Contacting us is not a requirement to delay exercising a statutory right or meeting a payment-provider deadline.
Cancellation and refunds are separate
Cancel the relevant subscription if you want future renewals to stop, and check the resulting confirmation. A refund request alone does not confirm cancellation. If two separate subscriptions exist, make clear which one you want ended.
Likewise, cancelling a subscription does not automatically reverse payments already made. Normal period-end cancellation leaves the confirmed paid access available until that period ends.
After a refund is approved
The payment provider handles the refund to the original payment method where possible. Access associated with the refunded transaction may end or change; check the resolution we or Paddle send you.
A separately agreed access arrangement should be confirmed in writing, including its end date and whether any subscription is cancelled, paused or scheduled to resume. Do not assume that free access and a pause mean the same thing.
Processing and bank timing
A submitted request is not a completed refund. After approval, the provider and your bank may need time to display the credit. Use the refund confirmation or reference when asking for an update; we do not promise a universal bank-posting time.
If a payment remains disputed
Reply to the existing support exchange with any missing evidence so the issue can be reviewed. You retain any lawful right to contact Paddle, your payment provider, a regulator or another appropriate dispute body.
This policy does not remove protections that cannot legally be waived. For current subscription choices, see Pricing; wider use conditions are in our Terms of Service.
