Source quality and output limits
The result depends on the source video and the output options available for it. Selecting a higher resolution does not restore detail that the original recording lacks.
A source can become unavailable, change or carry restrictions that prevent processing. Check the start and end of a finished clip before relying on it. Keep a separate copy of anything you need; download links are temporary.
Check transcript accuracy
The transcript tool retrieves caption tracks that already exist. It does not independently verify the speaker's words, correct caption mistakes or transcribe a video with no accessible captions.
Before quoting or republishing text, compare important names, figures and statements with the recording. Selecting a language track does not mean the tool has translated the audio itself.
Availability and third-party services
Processing relies on our infrastructure and external services. Maintenance, provider changes, network problems or source restrictions can interrupt a task. We do not promise a fixed completion time or uninterrupted access to every video.
If a task fails, note the error and the settings you used. Repeatedly submitting the same request may not resolve a source problem; send those details to support instead.
Permissions and independent operation
Being able to process a link does not establish a right to use its content. You remain responsible for permission, applicable law and relevant platform terms.
YT Video Cutter operates independently of YouTube and Google. A link to another site does not mean we control that site's content, policies or availability.
